Vurenza (“we”, “us”, “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data when you visit vurenza.com or purchase our products.

1. Who we are

Vurenza is a Dutch product company based in Zeeland, the Netherlands. We develop and sell the WheelGrip — a suitcase brake for spinner luggage. Contact: info@vurenza.com

2. What data we collect

  • Order data: name, email address, shipping address, payment method (processed via WooCommerce and our payment provider — we never store full card details)
  • Account data: if you create an account, your name, email and order history
  • Usage data: browser type, IP address, pages visited, referral source — collected via cookies and analytics tools
  • Communication data: messages you send us via the contact form or email

3. Why we collect it (legal basis)

  • Contract performance: to process and deliver your order (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR)
  • Legal obligation: to comply with Dutch tax and accounting law (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR)
  • Legitimate interest: to improve our website, prevent fraud, and handle customer support (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR)
  • Consent: to send marketing emails, if you have opted in (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR)

4. How long we keep your data

  • Order and financial data: 7 years (Dutch tax law requirement)
  • Account data: until you delete your account, or after 3 years of inactivity
  • Marketing emails: until you unsubscribe
  • Analytics data: 26 months

5. Who we share your data with

We only share your data with third parties where strictly necessary:

  • Payment providers (e.g. Mollie / Stripe) — for processing payments
  • Shipping carriers — to deliver your order
  • Hosting provider (STRATO) — our website runs on STRATO servers in Germany (EU)
  • Analytics tools (Google Analytics) — anonymised usage data with IP anonymisation enabled

We do not sell your personal data. We do not transfer your data outside the EU/EEA.

6. Your rights under GDPR

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Rectify inaccurate data
  • Erase your data (“right to be forgotten”), where legally permitted
  • Restrict or object to processing
  • Data portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
  • Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting prior processing
